Today has been a slow day. I had a heart monitor on to find out why my heart is permanently racing (tachychardia) and tried tropical Pepsi Max.
Well Pepsi Max cheered me up. Tropical Pepsi Max is a taste sensation that rocked my nation! (Of 1). It was delicious!
Jim, my boyfriend also tried the KFC pickle chicken burger. He absolutely loved it. We didn’t expect it to be good. I thought it would make my tastebuds angry as I don’t like KFC much and couldn’t imagine pickles with it, but wow! I had a bite or two and it was delicious. Jim’s opinion is that he would definitely have it again.
Jim: I didn’t think it would taste good but I had to try it. You said you only wanted a bite but you had half the burger! (I did haha).
I thought the pickles would be slimy but they were crunchy this gave it a nice texture. The taste was completely different to expectations. However, and this is a big however, they have stopped doing the watermelon cooler! I am devastated!
He was so happy with that burger! So I memorialised it in today’s doodle. The fact that watermelon coolers have been discontinued really is devastating! Watermelon cooler was my favourite drink from any fast food place. It really was in my opinion, the best drink out there. Hopefully KFC will see the error of their ways, return it and make it permanent.
On to my arty thoughts…One of the things we are taught in uni is to draw every day. I have really seen an improvement in both my digital and traditional art. It helped my find my style also which is something I have struggled with for years as an artist. I kept putting pressure on myself to find my “signature style”. Others had it and their work was recognisable but not for me. I felt like mine could be anyone’s. But now, I realise it is there and developing. So don’t give up! You will find it!
