TjB Arts Co.

How this Came About

Way back when I was in college I gained an A level in Art and Design. For some reason, I instantly turned away from this and moved on to other things. At 36 during lockdown I started to dabble in art again and loved it. I started posting my pictures on Instagram and received positive feedback and started accepting commissions.

My friend Robyn owns a company with her husband Alex called Churchill Creations. She makes amazing handmade candles, gifts and wax melts of a really high quality. Churchill creations also sells snacks and sweets from all over the world.

Robyn knew that I’ve been wanting to focus on my art and building my brand so to speak. I sing, I paint, I’m a published writer, I design but I have no focus or confidence. That probably is the case for many of us. You might have the talent even if you don’t think you do but belief in that talent is lacking. You haven’t got the time or resources maybe. I’ve been trying to break that mindset. It is not easy!

So I’m actually launching my company. It’s really nerve racking! It’s a multimedia outfit which I’ve named TjB Arts Co. I’m privileged to be joining Churchill Creations for my first craft fair in Brecon this Saturday (20th November 2021)! I’m terrified! If you’re in the Brecon area or can be this Saturday, come say hello to the nervous looking little woman and her husband wearing hoodies bearing this picture! You will be most welcome!

One of my specialities is pet portraits. I’ve included a digital portrait of my pup Moose. She is a mischievous little toy poodle of 6 months old. She is lush and is always up to something. Unfortunately she won’t be with me this weekend but she will be missed!

The second picture is a commission for a client of her Patterdale terrier. She kindly gave me permission to publicise it. We offer a range of services and products including Totes, hoodies and portraits. These are available to order from our stall and an online shop is in progress.

Feel free to contact us using the details below and I hope to see you or hear from you soon.

Thanks, Tonya of TjB Arts Co. (So exciting!)
